Let’s start with the obvious — our name is pretty awesome. The anchors at Good Morning America agreed, selecting ours as one of their favorite business names (out of a list of more than 1,900) in a recent segment. But our name is more than just memorable; it’s a potential money maker for our franchise operators.
According to Marketing MO, makers of a popular marketing strategy app, “Many of your potential customers might know virtually nothing about your company, product or service, and a great name can make a great first impression and open doors.”
The Bin There Dump That franchise management team has more than 90 years of combined experience. And while other franchise groups may have management teams with similar or, in very rare cases, longer tenures, very few can match our team’s impact.
That’s because our team works directly with our franchise operators to make sure that they are successful. We don’t hide in board rooms or executive offices; we take a hands-on, consultative and high-touch approach to the role of franchise management. We’re visible, available, and constantly working with our franchisees.
All franchisors charge royalties, which help cover the costs of marketing and advertising, ongoing franchise training and other expenses. However, while most franchise systems typically calculate royalties as a percentage of income or profit, Bin There Dump That takes a different approach.
We don’t ever want to penalize our franchisees for being successful, so we charge a straightforward, fixed cost based on the number of vehicles that they have in their fleet. As a result, franchise operators don’t have to worry about rising royalties, and they can plan their budgets in advance.
Bin There Dump That franchises are locally owned and operated by people who have a very strong desire not only to make a great business, but to make their communities better as well.
Our franchisees are actively involved in many community and charitable organizations, from national causes such as Habitat For Humanity to local holiday toy drives. Corporate social responsibility isn’t a buzzword for us; it’s a passion.
In addition to helping our communities, we are committed to helping our customers and the planet. Our dumpster and hauling services help our friends and neighbors clean out their homes and declutter their lives, while our eco-friendly practices (including using durable plastic bins) help declutter the environment.
It’s a win-win.
While other organizations may talk about culture and customer service, these are the pillars of our business. In fact, our mantra is “delivering the friendly.”
To our customers, delivering the friendly means a personal, high touch experience delivered around their needs. Our franchisees, as well as their employees, need to be helpful, respectful and nothing short of wonderful.
But the friendly isn’t reserved just for our customers; it’s for each other as well. All franchisees and members of the franchise group treat each other with respect and are available to lend a helping hand. We wouldn’t want it any other way.
